Lexington, Kentucky (May 6, 2016)The 2016 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event has recently conculded and was a favorite event for the equestrian community for another year. There was never a dull moment as competitiors converged from all over the world to compete in North America’s premier Three-Day Event competiiton. Germany’s Michael Jung was victorius in the competition; and on the sidelines, Accuhorsemat also came away with a winning year.

Colleen Elliott and Thomas Willetto, co-founders of Acuswede, the North American distributer of Accuhorsemat, were on hand at Rolex to help spectators learn more about their revolutionary acupressue blanket— the Accuhorsemat. “We had lots of activity at our booth in the Trade Show with lots of  people  spending time on our lounge, trying out the Acuswedemat (the acupressure mat for people),” said Elliott. She continued, “The crowd included eventers and horse enthusiasts from across the country. It’s a very focused and engaged ‘equine audience’ at the Rolex – from trainers to competitors to vets and practitioners It was a great place for us to educate on our  Accuhorsemat and Acuswedemat products that help with both horse and rider health.”

While showing off the Accuhorsemat at Rolex, the company was also a co-sponsor of the Retired Racehorse Project’s HagyardHoedown that was hosted at Hagyards Equine Veterinary Clinic. All proceeds from the eventsupport the Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium, a $100,000 training competition on the last weekend of October at Kentucky Horse Park featuring over 500 Thoroughbreds beginning second careers in ten riding sports. Elliott said, “The event was a great opportunity to meet people on the journey to the Makeover, and those who support the Retired Racehorse Project. There was great food, a great band, and it was for a great cause. We were thrilled to support RRP’s efforts to insure second careers for these OTTBs after racing, and it was a lot of fun!”.

Accuhorsemat, the innovative new equine acupressure blanket developed in Sweden, is designed to encourage health and wellness in horses that wear it. Whether it is helping former racehorses relax as they start their new careers, or making sure top level eventers are warmed up before they hit the cross-country course, Accuhorsemat is the perfect natural way to make horses healthier and happier.

The 2016 Rolex Three-Day Event is just the beginning of Accuhorsemat’s busy summer schedule. Riders and horse owners who are interested in this product can catch up with Accuhorsemat at the Equestrian Sport Production (ESP) Summer Series in Wellington, Florida.
